 Art-pop duo, Jane Leo, have cut through the noise and made some of their own with self-titled album release on European label (MARS Label Group) and regional touring supporting Cannons, Misterwives, The Unlikely Candidates, and The Bright Light Social Hour. They were the March 2023 Artist of the Month for Texas NPR station KUTX. Recent press states “you’ll discover the duo’s compelling use of 80’s influences, new wave tropes and darkwave vibes” (Mesmerized). “Primed to unleash their slick, lo-fi cool upon the Austin scene and beyond” (Austin Monthly). “A mixture of The Kills’ gloomy, spectral guitars and the Arctic Monkeys’ gigantic modern indie sound. These are threads Jane Leo wear well” (Alt 77).
